Rally & March
The featured speakers will hit the stage at 1:30, wrapping up around 2:15 pm for the start of the march. The main stage will feature musical acts before and after the main rally, while the Action Camp goes on from 12-5.
Rally (1:30-2:15 pm)
Speakers will include:
- Raed Jarrar, an Iraqi-Palestinian writer and activist who coordinated the first survey of Iraqi civilian casualties.
- Maggie Pondolfino, Military Families Speak Out-Oregon whose son is now serving in Iraq
- Tina and Robert Bean, Iraq Veterans Against the War
- Jackie Spurlock, American Iranian Friendship Council who recently traveled to Iran
- Congressman Earl Blumenauer, author of the New Direction for Iraq Act
- Rev. Lynne Smouse López, Pastor, Ainsworth United Church of Christ
A Youth Stage with a separate program will be running in the Action Camp area.
March (about 2:15 pm)
The march route winds through downtown Portland, is fully permitted, and family friendly. Please know that any feeder marches will have to speak to the city to secure a legal permit.

Music and Theatre!
As bookends to the rally & march, the main stage will feature a variety of musical and theatre acts. The music and performances will start at 12:30pm and continue after the rally until 4:30pm.
Hungry Mob will provide the hip hop. They're a local Portland collective of hip hop and soul artists that perform great songs with conscious lyrics.
Kate Power & Steve Einhorn will play some folk songs and get us all singing together.
Local indierock band, Ross Beach and the Hellpets.
Marilyn Keller will contribute her beautiful voice with some jazz and spiritual songs. She'll be accompanied by George Mitchell on keys, Dennis Caiazza on bass, and Ron Steen on drums.
Jesse Dyen, the Camp Casey singer/songwriter, brings his guitar, wonderful voice and moving songs all the way from California to our stage.
