Photo-ops this week before March 15 "World Without War" Rally, March and Action Camp
Portland--In preparation for the Saturday, March 15 World Without War event, organizers are gathering to paint banners on Wednesday, to train as march peacekeepers on Thursday, and to pray for peace on Friday, March 14.

What: Artists gather to paint colorful 10 foot banners in preparation for Saturday, March 15 peace march

Peacekeeper Training
What: Training for peacekeepers (security) for March 15 peace march

All Denominations Gathering for Peace with Lighting of Candles
What: Faith leaders from many Christian traditions will lead an all denominations gathering to bear witness for peace, marking the fifth anniversary of the war in Iraq. The evening will include reflections, music, unity and lighting of candles.
Where: First Congregational Church, 1126 SW Park Ave, Portland
When: Friday, March 14th 7-8 P
Who: Service led by clergy and faith leaders from traditions including:
Presbyterian, United Church of Christ, United Methodist, Congregationalist, Mennonite, Quaker, Unitarian Universalist, and others.
Everyone is Welcome, Families Are Encouraged
