SUMMARY:[Repeat]Weekly Thursday Impeachment Action
DESCRIPTION:
WEEKLY THURSDAY IMPEACHMENT ACTION
Come join a group of people who have fun but bring the message to our representative that we do not want to see our children or grandchildren being drafted to service in Iraq in the year 2017.
Wednesdays and Thursdays
High noon @ 729 Oregon St.
We demand that all the Oregon Delegation now come out with a clear statement calling for the Impeachment of Dick Cheney and/or G.W. Bush.

We declare that we will not support or vote for any candidate who refuses to hold these two war criminals accountable for the illegal invasion\, occupation and now genocide of the people of Iraq.

We have been patient\, asked and now demand you do your job and bring these corrupt politicians to the bar of justice before they leave office.

This madness must stop\, our troops are in great danger\, and our people are now ashamed to call themselves Americans. The world is stunned by our lack of understanding what these monsters in the White House have and are doing.

Can't come to our protest on Thursdays at noon\, 729 Oregon St.?&nbsp\; Here is what you can do\:

Call your Representative and tell the person who answers the phone that you will no longer support him/her until they call for the investigation and impeachment of the Vice President and/or the President.

<p style=\\"font\: normal normal normal 12px/normal Verdana\; color\: #333333\; margin\: 0px\\">In the words of the organizer\: I am a politically active 13 years old\, turning 14 February. I began organizing weekly peace marches protesting the Iraq war and have continued to organize them since January 28th 2007. We have marched in the sun\, in the pouring rain\, in the wind and in hail. Nothing will stop the us from telling every one we pass that there are people dying every day. We have had up to 23 people on one march\, and at least 300 honks. Cars\, fire trucks\, buses and police cars have all honked (or sounded sirens) in support.

<p style=\\"font\: normal normal normal 12px/normal Verdana\; color\: #333333\; margin\: 0px\\">I have been trying to reach kids\, like me\, specifically because we need to make our voices heard. We will inherit this country and the planet\, along with its rich\, and sometimes great\, sometimes dreadful\, history. We can't let our international credibility be tarnished\, dragged in the mud and ripped to shreds. We need to stand up for our credibility\, for our brave men and women in uniform shipped off to a country on the other side of the planet and for the Iraqi people who have been slaughtered in the name of &quot\;Democracy&quot\; and &quot\;Freedom.&quot\; If you would like to stand up and say &quot\;ENOUGH&quot\;\, if you would like to stand up for peace\, then show up on Sundays. We meet at 1\:30 behind Sunnyside Environmental School\, on 35th and Taylor. The march goes on for about 45 minutes to an hour.
